I was contracted to work on Meta's about website from Feburary to July this year under Sia's digital department, SiaXperience. Working directly under the departments technical director and program manager.
In this fast paced environment, I delivered on high profile pages in preperation for conferences and company announcements being led by external teams; such as the launch of Meta Pay for the US, Brazil, and Thailand, and the Preparing for Elections Page. While having completed work on the Mothers Day 2024 campaign that included national tv spots, which was killed shortly before the launch date.
I managed content creation and maintenance in XML using Meta’s internal CMS platform, completing these various tasks regularly:
  • Facilitating approvals for sensitive changes via gatekeepers, managing page deprecations, redirects, and translations across our locale set of 18 languages
  • Conducted research on components in our toolkit: compiling documents on limitations, use findings, and comparisons for deprecation; conversing with the original engineers about intended usage and purpose
  • Maintained page tracking spreadsheets and updated pages across the site to convert to our new component library based on Figma mocks; in collaboration with our design and engineering teams.
  • Jumping into colleague projects to help unblock and rollback live pages experiencing issues
I developed a keener ability to explain technical limitations to non technical colleagues on external teams to manage expectations when working under strict deadlines, and was able to make compromises when possible while balancing requests from multiple shareholders whose contributions my tasks depended on.

This tenure was limited due to extended client deliberations on my department's contract.
